Masterpieces

Materpieces 2011

All throughout this week Zane Lowe has played four albums which he believes are bonafied classics. Each day from Monday to Thursday he has played the albums from start to finish starting with Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream on the Monday and ending with Oasis - Definitely Maybe on the Thursday.
Each album is played with no interuptions and no censorships, the way it was inteneded to be heard. The albums are accompanied beforehand with the people who made it (Billy Corgan; Mark Ronson; Dizzee Rascal; Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher) and those who were inspired by it (Mark Hopus from Blink 182; Lady Gaga; Gary Barlow; Florence Welsh; Frank Ocean; Alex Turner; Serge from Kasabian; Richard Ashcroft; Johnny Depp; Paul Weller; Lars from Metallica; Tinie Tempah; Chris Martin; Tinchy Stryder; Wretch 32 and lots more!

You can listen to all these on the BBC iPlayer.
